Sick....

Today is 26/12/2008, the day after Xmas. Didnt manage to get off today cos i thought of saving my leave for CNY. I went to work, but, i was sick...sore throat (thanks to the "couple" who demanded so much on Wed), cough, flu and fever....

I wanted to see the dr, but i took 4 hours just to see the staff health clinic dr. so inefficient!

Later in the afternoon, a chinese lady showed me her Rx and asked if she could get the medication for her mum for last month. The date that was written on the Rx was 29/11/08. She told me she was late because they were outstation and when she came here 2 weeks ago, there wasnt any stock for BP medicine (Losartan). So she didnt get the medication for her mum, and she had to borrow it from someone else. She asked me if i could supply her the medication for last month so that she could return it to her friend.

According to the policy, i told her it has already expired and the medication for that month has been forfeited. She got angry and started shouting at me..saying that it's not her fault...it's the hospital's fault cos there wasnt any stock that time...blah blah blah...hmmm...

After discussion with one of the pharmacist (kak has), she agreed to just give her 2 weeks supply of BP medicine. I told the lady and she said "ok, better than none." Then, she asked me to give her the rest of the medications also, including cholesterol etc... aiyo...initially she just asked for the BP medicine to return to her friend, and now she asked for all the medicines....really pengsan.

In the end, we just gave her everything for 2 weeks. While i was packing for her, she did appologise to me and said sorry that i have to endure all the unnecessary scolding from the patients. She knows that i'm just doing my job, but she said it's quite frustrating when such things happened.

Anyway, i'm quite relief, didnt hate her since she appologize...heheb=)
